Each of our clients requires a unique approach but loosely speaking our process looks something like this
Like any good campaign we start off by assessing your objectives and goals and using these to define our strategies.
Knowing our audience is the first step to define account structure, targeting and messaging strategies. An audience brainstorm session with the client ensures we co-discover hidden motivations, friction points and key messages we can leverage through ads across the funnel.
Our rule is more data through less campaigns and ad sets, feeding the machine learning success loop. That said, ensuring the right message reaches the right person at the right time means we keep a certain level of granularity. Funnel stages, genders, catalogue or manual, our structure is built to blend efficiency with visibility and control.
Then there is the Performance Studio. From high end fashion to functional consumer tech, we take our accumulated DTC experience and ongoing creative innovation to develop the perfect ad mix for your brand. You get creative direction, an ad production and testing plan to ensure statics, slideshows, videos and even catalogue ads, stop thumbs and drive action.
Testing testing and more testing! To ensure constant and proactive improvement we test new campaign types, audiences and creatives. Especially creatives. Our sprint methodology ensures monthly checks on what is working and why, leading to monthly creative updates to put the hypothesis to the test.
Every month and/or week you’ll receive reports outlining all the work we’ve done (& the thought process behind it) and what we’ve got lined up for the coming month. We’ll report on the important stuff (does it really matter to you that ad variation 4 beat variation 3 by 0.0034% this month – probably not, but we use that data to craft our next set of creatives to make sure we’re constantly optimising for performance). We can report on this stuff if you’d like, but clients tend to focus more on results that matter to them – sales, revenue & ROI.
As with any digital initiative it’s essential to have this in place. We look at platform performance to ensure good quality data is flowing and benchmarks are being surpassed but we also look at business level GA / Shopify / consolidated information with you. We know that paid social has a wider impact on other channels and we are more interested in understanding this wider impact vs just sticking to what the platform says.
