Form Nutrition are a plant-based nutrition company with a Certified B Corporation title.

Health and wellness is at the forefront of Form’s ethos, with only plant-based ingredients being used. They are producing high quality vegan protein powder and cognitive nootropics to improve fitness, productivity and sleep.

Form partnered with Katté & Co to supercharge their paid media new customer acquisition efforts through state of the art technology, best practice and extraordinary biddable experts.

Form previously ran activity in house, focusing mainly on branded search and remarketing activity. Whilst this was producing a decent ROI they didn’t have the expertise or bandwidth to scale the accounts and the campaigns hadn’t been built in a way that would allow for scale.

They were seeking an agile paid media specialist who could take their existing setup and turbo-charge it to the next level.

We had three key objectives:

  • Increase new customer acquisition
  • Keep a stable CPA
  • Increase brand awareness

Our approach

Through our market-leading auditing process we identified the main areas of opportunity to scale. We focussed initially on restructuring the Paid Social account, breaking out Prospecting and Remarketing (new vs existing customers) and after running with our new setup, we briefed in new creatives and tested new audiences. We moved towards a broader approach, giving Facebook’s machine learning more data to effectively optimise towards.

By reacting quickly and working closely with the team at Form we were able to adapt to the Covid-19 situation: we saw the increase in demand for online retailers and the reduction in competition (a 51.7% drop in CPM occurred during February – April) for ads. We saw it as a great opportunity to scale spend and escalate what we had been previously testing.

By increasing spend when it mattered most we scaled our ‘user acquisition’ campaign, sped up the algorithm’s learning periods and saw purchases reach their highest ever point whilst dropping CPA.
